Sorry it has been sooo long since my last post! I really have been super busy in trying to arrange everything for my final internship and it seems like it is all coming closer. If everything works out the way I hope, I will definitely be doing a lot more blogging and might even take on something new!
Anyways this time last year I took my mom to Ibiza for her birthday. The weather was so nice and I had such a good time there that I really wanted to write a post about it! The fact that the island is so photogenic helps as well of course. I have been day dreaming about going to Ibiza a lot lately, especially with this horrible weather we have been having here in The Netherlands. My Dutchies will know what I am talking about…
While in Ibiza me & my mom stayed in a nice hotel on Playa D’en Bossa one night, and the other nights we spent in The Hard Rock Hotel, which I would recommend to everyone. It is such a great hotel in so many ways! The food, location, facilities, music and smell haha. Anyways I really hope I can stay there again some time soon!
Besides the great hotel, I am so in love with Ibiza. It is definitely one of my favorite places in the world. It is so beautiful and the atmosphere is great. You have the best parties here, but I mostly go there just to enjoy the island. And I love the way I can dress when I am there. I still have so many Ibiza-outfits ready to go, hanging in my closet. The reason that I can’t wear them here is mostly the weather and the lack of a relaxed island vibe… I hadn’t really had the right opportunity yet to wear this awesome orange H&M fringe skirt that I am wearing in Holland yet, so I was really excited about finally wearing it. Even if that meant that I lost half of the space (and weight) of my only carry on luggage.
The day we shot the pictures it was so hot, crazy for October! But it was so humid, so after walking around the old town of Ibiza, Dalt Villa, my hair got so crazy and curly ( I have natural curly hair).
Hope you guys like it!

How are you all doing? I am so bummed out by the fall-like weather we are having here in the Netherlands, so I decided to do a little throwback post about an event that I visited a while ago. It’s sweater weather right now, and the same can be said about the day of the event. I am wearing very flashy shoes with my favorite knits ever!!! I had spend hours and hours on the internet looking for my size, so you can imagine how happy I was when I finally got both the sweater and trousers in my size. I was lucky because someone probably returned them to Shopbop so I ordered them right away! Anyways it’s a trend that we will probably see more of this fall/winter season. I have seen really really great co-ords knits in the new collection of Tibi and H&M is also selling loosely knit matching trousers and jumpers. The one I am wearing is from Alice & Oliva, but I also got myself a budget version from Zara in nude ( and it was on sale!! ), which I will probably be wearing soon given the current weather. Besides the way it looks, which I really like, it’s also super comfy. Who doesn’t like to wear something as comfy as your PJ’s but still look stylish.
Anyways I visited the ILOVEFASHIONBLOGGERS Blog Fair at the MTV studios, where a lot of really great, inspirational and super sweet Dutch Bloggers were present. There was live music, a Q & A with the Bloggers, lots of great Brands and food & drinks. Definitely a great event to see your favorite favorite Fashionbloggers!
Please let me know what you think of this outfit ❤

Hi loves! I am back from my hibernation, or at least that is what it feels like. I have been planning to post something but kept postponing it, and here we are, a few months after my last update. Anyways this time I will REALLY try to post more regularly. I have so much outfits and travel tips that I would love to share. And it is summer YAY! Which means that in one week I will have my freedom back from uni, and that I will have a lot more time to work on my blog and on travelling of course.
Today I want to share some pics from my trip to Barcelona earlier this year. After this trip I have already been back there twice, so I have to hurry up haha. In a previous post I might have mentioned that I have lived in Barcelona for a year a few years ago. So now I still have a lot of my good friends living there, therefor I try to go back whenever I can. Besides my friends I just love the city. It’s so vibrant and it simply has everything that you might need. There is the beach, a great city life, mountains and lots of events and not to forget amaaaaazing food! Most of my tips will probably be about food, since I am such a foodie.
This day I went to one of my all-time favorite burger restaurants called Kiosko! Or Bacao, there are several restaurants located around the city and the names vary. The burgers there are so good, but I also love this place for its selection of fries and home-made sauces. They are simply amazing, and I always end up just eating the sauce when all my food is already gone. All the burgers there are good, but my favorite one is definitely the burger “Japonesa” which comes with a delicious teriyaki sauce. Besides this place, I was introduced to another great Burger restaurant called “Timesburg”. This one has more or less the same concept, but is more spacious and is situated a little bit more outside of the center. Here you will also find more locals than in Kiosko, which attracts quite a lot of tourists lately. I have only been to Timesburg once, but I ordered this divine burger with a mint sauce. Which works great with the hot climate of Barcelona. This burger was a special at the moment, so I hope that they will add it to their menu!
I will post more tips and pics from my trip to Barcelona soon!
Have a lovely week babes!

Another post about my trip to Berlin earlier this year. This time we shot the pictures in front of the famous Brandenburger Tor and the MBFW tent. These pictures were taken the morning after the amazing STYLIGHT Influencer Awards and after party, so I am not looking my very best.. or even very awake. I was actually hoping for better weather when I picked this outfit haha, but I was just so done with the winter and wanted to change things up a little. I had recently bought this jeans and I didn’t have the time to wear it yet, so I decided to take it with me to the very cold Berlin… But at least I was happy about what I was wearing. =) I love to combine ripped jeans with these studded loafers from Zara (old collection), they just give an edgy feel to the look and then I topped it off with this bright green coat. Hope you guys like it! Xoxo

I have finally found the perfect backpack! I am so in love with this velvet babe from Sandro Paris. As you might have seen in my previous post I already have the bomber jacket from the same collection. I don’t know what it is with this special collector’s collection, but I wanted every single peace. And luckily I found the backpack on sale in Antwerp which makes it even better!
I think having a bag like this makes every outfit look more chic. The deep green color and velvet texture give it a very rich feeling to it. If you wear it neutral pieces it is very easy to combine with whatever you choose to wear. It was a cold and grey day in Holland, so I chose to wear my comfy and very warm Zara knitted cardigan and paired it with a leather jacket to make it look less slouchy, I was in a very comfy mood haha so I also wore a statement T-shirt and coated black leggings. But the bag made me feel chic anyways.

It’s been a while since my last post, but I haven’t been home a lot lately. Last week I went to Berlin to attend the STYLIGHT Fashion Influencer Awards. It was so much fun and there were so many great people. Since I did my internship there it was also really good to see my old colleagues again! I really miss working there, and my life in Munich! Anyways my trip there was really short and quite hectic since I had exams that week. I arrived on Tuesday morning and the awards were that same evening. So after going to the hotel, we went for a sushi lunch, which was amazing! ( I am so in love with sushi) and then back to the hotel to get ready. It was so difficult to choose which dress I wanted to wear this year. I had two options and I decided last moment (like 30 minutes before leaving haha) that it was going to be the feather dress. I will save the other one for the next special occasion ;). I wore the dress with my all time favorite Gucci shoes, a leather jacket and my brand new bag. The leather jacket gave the dress an edgier feeling to it, but it was quite warm inside so I took it off quickly. I wonder what you guys think about the outfit!
Anyways the night started out with the introduction of the jury including Louise Roe, Bryanboy and Bar Refaeli, and then straight to the awards for the bloggers. There was a fashions-how by TIGHA and live music by KLINGANDE. (check them out if you don’t know them ;)! ) and of course the night ended with a great after-party. The location was really cool too, because it was an old swimming pool. which gave it the perfect Berlin atmosphere. It was so good to be there and to catch up with some of the greatest bloggers. On my pictures you can see the sweet Zanita, Linda Tol and Kristina Bazan, as well as Rosa Pels and my sister Nadia van de Ven. I will also post a video from STYLIGHT to give you all the perfect impression of the night.
